Frequently asked questions

Pricing, privacy, payment, and what to expect.

How much does it cost?

$75 per 60-minute remote session. There are no add-ons or surprise fees. If I cannot resolve or significantly improve the issue, you do not pay.

Why a flat rate instead of by the minute?

Sometimes a fix takes 5 minutes; sometimes it takes 55. A flat rate keeps the price simple and avoids making you watch the clock.

How do I pay?

I send a payment request after the session is complete and you are satisfied. Most customers use Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. I do not ask for card numbers during the support session.

Why do I have to fill out a quote form first?

The quote form helps me confirm whether the issue is a good remote-support fit before you book. It also gives me enough information to prepare, which keeps the appointment focused.

Can I send a screenshot?

Yes. The quote form does not collect uploads, so submit the form first. When I reply by email, you can send screenshots or photos as attachments.

What is Quick Assist? Is it safe?

Quick Assist is Microsoft’s official remote-support tool for Windows. You see the session in real time, and you can end it with one click.

Will you ask for my passwords?

No. If a website, email account, or app needs a password during the session, you type it yourself. I will not ask for your Microsoft account password, banking details, or saved payment information.

What if you cannot fix my problem?

You do not pay. If the issue cannot be fixed remotely, I will tell you honestly and point you toward the right next step when I can.

Do you support Macs, Chromebooks, or phones?

Not right now. PNW PC Help is focused on Windows PCs.

Are evenings and weekends available?

Yes. Most appointment times are weekday evenings and weekends, Pacific Time. Exact openings are available after your quote is approved.

Where are you based?

I am based in the Pacific Northwest. Since support is remote, I can help customers nationwide as long as the computer is a Windows PC with an internet connection.

What if I need to reschedule?

No problem. Your calendar invite includes a reschedule link. Please give as much notice as you can.

I am not very tech-savvy. Will I be able to do this?

Yes. The process is designed to be simple. If you can open an email and follow a link, I can walk you through the rest.
